AR15CHATTERBOX Morale Patch !

Postby mvician » Sun Apr 15, 2012 9:54 pm

Mark (Blackdog1216) has come up with some great designs for a morale patch for forum members :!:
He has found a place that does custom patches at a great price, we just need to get an idea of how many want to get in on these. Hopefully we can get enough to keep the price low.

Please view the following link to see what is in planning :D

Ok, this is the lowdown on the AR15CHATTERBOX Morale Patches.

Here is the information and image of the proposed patch. Size is 4" w X 2.7" t.
I believe it will be embroidered with 5 colors of threads: Lt. Tan, Med. Tan, Dk. Tan, Gunmetal Gray & Scarlet Red.
I think the Black will be the back ground material of the patch. The patches will have the velcro hook on the back.

With the initial response that we have had we are looking at an order for 50 patches.
I have talked it over with Mike before posting this and the pricing will be the same as the AR15Chatterbox.com Name Tapes.

1st patch will cost $7.00 and each patch after will be $5.00. This includes the shipping.

1 Patch = $7.00
2 Patches = $12.00
3 Patches = $17.00
4 Patches = $22.00
5 Patches = $27.00
etc., etc. etc.

With any cash overage or any other extra donations for the patches we will have a give away of prizes like Mike did on the first run of the Chatterbox name tapes.
The prize that time was a Magpul PMag. The type and number of prizes will depend on the amount of extra cash that we have at the time the patch order is received
and dispersed. We can discuss that at a later time when we see how many get sold and how much extra we have.

We are going to do something a little different on the amount of guesses you get for the give away prize though. This time how many patches you buy are the amount of guesses you get.
Example: 1 patch = 1 guess or 6 patches gets you 6 guesses and a better chance at winning a prize.

Right now this is who we have commitments from for the patches:

Bones - 10
blackdog1216 - 5+
grunt167 - he said a few = 3
wARmachine - 2 (depending on price)
ar15adam - 2
gadsden11 - he said a few = 3
The DRis = 5
iDominate = 3
Rusty Shackleford = 2
RudyN = 2
Shaniac = 2
pasquale91 & TheMrs. = 4
Boone = 2
dptdenny212 = 3
larrville = 2
vedearduff = 3

TOTAL = 53 (Updated 5-10-12)

This equals 53 so far and Mike graciously said he would pick up the remaining patches. Some for himself and the rest for old or new members that
may be interested at a later date. I really hate for Mike to get stuck with this many patches. Come on get your orders in. We will hold off for a while,
but would like to place this order in a couple weeks. This should be plenty of time for people to decide and get the funds to the appropriate place.

To see some samples of this company's patches go to this other AR15CHATTERBOX morale patch thread
I posted a few samples from their website gallery.

I will say that if we go above the 50 patch quote and make it to where we have to get 100 patches
to meet the order, the prices for the patches should drop $1.00 per patch.

We would probably have to meet at least 80+ order commitment so Mike isn't stuck with a bunch of extra patches.
This would all depend on Mike since he'll be keeping the extras.
