You get different front and backstraps. Just get the MOE unless you have weird hands and have to custom order gloves.

I ended up configuring my MIAD exactly like the MOE, I know a few others have as well.

Plus if you get the MIAD and want to use it's trigger guard, you HAVE to have the finger groove frontstrap.

It does come with the plug. Well at least mine did but I ended up with an M&P 15 MOE. So I am assuming that grip by itself would come with it also. I like my MOE just fine. I tend to think I have normal size hands not freakylish big or anything like that.

It is my understanding that you have to purchase the bolt plug separately

I picked up a MOE for my wife's rifle but I preferred the MIAD more... For one I like using the large backstrap but I also prefer the texture of the MIAD over the horizontal serrations on the MOE

This is the one thing I just don't get about the MIAD. I don't understand Magpul's thinking here, unless it's just to get people to have to buy another trigger guard separately. I like the MIAD because I use the large backstrap, but it was aggravating having to buy another guard.

Easy solution is buy the MIAD basic and the MOE poly trigger guard, it'll end up being cheaper the MIAD full.
