I'm jealous, it rained too hard and long to get my garden out and then my heat pump quit. Replacing it has taken up all my time.
I have 2 better boy tomato plants in 2 pots, they do have some red tomatoes on them now.

I was about to say wow, but it's used already. Nothing in my garden is more than an inch high, we just planted 2 weeks ago cause of the cold spring. Hoping to get some lettuce and stuff like that before winter.

Hey LR, what variety beans did you plant? pole or bush? We looking at starting a garden here just need to figure out where it's going to be located. I cant wait for fresh veggies.

We do the bush beans I hate strings while snapping them! These we use have runners and spread out and would climb if they are next to corn or a fench.

Cooking, baking and canning reminds me of my Grandmother too.... she was always in the kitchen and she always let me help her even if I was too young to do much lol. I wish I had half the energy and determination she had; in her late 80's she was still tending a huge garden.

Same here she was the best cook that I have ever known She would always cook the food the way I liked it and it would piss my brothers off! And she would tell them you help out in the kitchen and you will get it your way also! My grandpa would always laugh at them because me and him had the same taste in food! That man ate bacon 2 eggs over easy home fries and toast with butter and honey on it every day of his life and died at 99 missing 100 by just a month.
